Wood pellets are as easy to use as oil or coal, but are much easier to handle, store and transport.

Specialist boilers can replace traditional units in standard central heating systems. Existing equipment can also be converted to handle pellet fuel.

Pellets are inert under normal circumstances and safe to store. They do not spontaneously heat up or give off noxious fumes, do not require the storage buffer zone required by more inflammable and environmentally damaging fuels.

Efficient nationwide supply chains mean pellets can be delivered in the same way as oil and coal, and then blown into the users’ storage facilities.

Wood pellet boilers are more reliable and long-lasting than traditional fossil-fuelled machines. Advances made in boiler manufacture and technology have been applied to pellet-fired boilers. As a result they are low maintenance, fully automated and contain a number of advanced features that are not seen in more traditional models. They require minimal attention other than a normal annual service and periodic ash removal.
